One of my failings
when I first started researching how to market
and promote products effectively on the internet
was always thinking that I would find
something
better.
And so you keep on searching, looking for more
free e-books, until you've got them coming out
of your ears, and you go brain-dead with information
overload.
It wasn't until I bought the Super Affiliate
Handbook that I really started to understand

Print it out (you get a lot of book for your
money), and then you can write notes on it and
highlight things to research further when you're
at your
computer. This isn't a 20 page wonder, its 275
pages of A4, written in a clear concise style that
is always interesting to read.
Read it once,
then read it again.
Make a plan, do your research
and refer to it again!
Let everything sink in. After reading SAH I have
stopped chasing the freebies, and have only needed
to buy one or two more books on very specific
things, e.g. to help understand the best techniques
for Google Adwords and Adsense, or how to write
autoresponder follow-up emails.
Rather than buying various other ebooks invest
your money wisely! Buy this book to begin with,
and then some essential tools, such as a good
click/ad tracking software and an email autoresponder.
These things are so vitally important.
You need tracking so you know what is working
and what is not (otherwise you are working in
the dark), and you need an autoresponder to keep
in touch with people. All these things are explained
in-depth in the Super Affiliate Handbook, along
with advice on which ones are good, and alternatives
for you depending on your experience and skill
level.
It is the best investment I
made in a
long time,
and it has paid its weight in gold!
Above all - stop procrastinating and do something
to get started. Only by actually doing something
will you begin to gain experience and discover
what works and how.
