AJC Grep

GREP - Global Regular Expression Parser

Pardon? Those of us who know the UNIX or Linux operating systems will probably be familiar with the "grep" utility, a small but incredibly powerful piece of software.

Until now there has not really been an equivalent of this for the MS Windows operating system, but AJC Grep now makes many things possible, and adds many very useful enhancements to Windows, all contained in a familiar Windows program with wizards and tutorials to make common tasks easy.

Basically "grep" searches files for lines containing a match to a given pattern list. When it finds a match in a line, it does whatever other sort of thing you have requested by specifying options.
